as i watch the world conjure up new technologies and gadgets day after day, i can't help but be filled with a sense of foreboding. ultimately, we will be subjugated by the machines born of our hands, crushed by the very things made to serve us. the world is meticulousy structuring its own doom, and no one seems to apprehend it.
downloaded the free version of google earth, and what i saw shocked the daylights out of me. the satellite camera in orbit serving this program allowed me to zoom right up to my friend's house, close enough to know she has a red saloon car, close enough to know that the left side of her house has 9 windows. and my friend lives in scotland. i could count 12 cars at a traffic junction on hope street, california. and thats's just the free version. i shudder to think of what the program that cost a mere four hundred dollars could then do.
i can't help but think, that when the anti-christ comes, he's going to have the easiest time of his life. all the infrastructure is in place, anything he needs is a button away. i don't know what's becoming of the world, really.
